John graduated from Bethel University in 1994 with a B.A. in Organizational Studies and from Liberty Seminary in 2008 with an M.A. in Religion, Church Ministries Emphasis, and also from Liberty Seminary in 2022 with a DMin degree in Biblical Preaching.

Married since 1992 to Christy, a teacher and curriculum writer, they have two sons, Luke and Blake.

John loves playing most anything, building, fixing and learning.

He is privileged to lead EFCC’s Jr. High Ministry for 7th and 8th grade students and has done so since December of 2000. John is passionate about seeing students worship God, serve God, share God, and be an integral part of the church.
